Join us for a free vegetarian meal and learn the latest in human nutrition from Michael Greger, M.D, a graduate of the Tufts University School of Medicine. This educational event will include practical advice on how best to feed ourselves and our families to prevent, treat, and even reverse chronic disease in an entertaining and interactive multimedia presentation. Dr. Greger is a physician, author, and internationally recognized professional speaker on a number of important public health issues, and he currently is the Director of Public Health and Animal Agriculture at The Humane Society of the United States.

 Want to satisfy your sweet tooth and help us help animals at the time? Now’s your chance! Starting in October, the awarding-winning Sticky Fingers Bakery is hosting COK benefit days, on the second Tuesday of each month—join us for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert and a portion of your bill will be automatically donated towards our efforts to help farmed animals.

 You're invited! Support COK while enjoying delicious cruelty-free fare and socializing with other activists! Please join us at the monthly Java Green funding day on the third Saturday of every month, when a portion of your bill will benefit COK. In addition to their regular menu, Java Green offers a delicious vegan brunch available only on Saturdays until 3:00 p.m.

You're invited! Support COK while enjoying delicious cruelty-free fare and socializing with other activists! Please join us at the monthly Vegetable Garden funding day, the first Thursday of every month, when D.C.'s vegan favorite donates 10 percent of your bill to COK.
